The fastest moving and most dynamic image in the series, 'Rush hour' captures the water surging in with a slower shutter speed than the others.

Every now and then when you're on a rock shelf by the sea, the seemingly gentle swell can take you by surprise and a rogue wave will come from nowhere. The sea was small and gentle on this day so there was no danger, but when this faster flow barrelled its way down the channel I was photographing, it was a thrill to be able to capture it in this image.

I also love the strong almost orangey ti tree colour in the background. That rust of the rockpool lichen is an all time favourite of mine.
