Ripples
It's another Killiecrankie beach collection! You'll find my spiel on this place back in 'Low tide'.
Only THIS time I wasn't wandering along that stunning shoreline at the bookends of the day. It was mid, blazing sun, afternoon!
Half way along the broad, far-reaching moon-shaped stretch of sand was an inlet. When the tide came up high enough, it met with the sea.
I was immediately drawn to the ripples in this shallow water, and the slight tanin in the fresh water.
The gentle breeze seemed to 'paint' the most interesting patterns and lines onto the already shimmering water. It was the prettiest little creek I ever did see.
